# ✅ FIX APPLIED: Database Configuration Restored

## What Was Fixed

The database credentials were temporarily updated for cPanel, but this broke the local XAMPP installation.

**Status:** ✅ **LOCAL XAMPP NOW WORKING AGAIN**

---

## Current Configuration

### Local XAMPP (Current)
- Database: `login-table`
- User: `root`
- Password: (empty)
- ✅ **Admin page working**
- ✅ **Blog page working**
- ✅ **Home page working**

### cPanel (Ready for deployment)
- Database: `mahamusa_db`
- User: `mahamusa`
- Password: `tCG!c&lpxW8Q`
- ✅ **Ready to use when deployed**

---

## How to Deploy to cPanel

### Option 1: Manual Update (Simple)

When you deploy to cPanel:

1. **After creating database & user in cPanel**, update `db_config.php`:

```php
$DB_HOST = 'localhost';
$DB_USER = 'mahamusa_db_user';  // Use what cPanel gives you
$DB_PASS = 'tCG!c&lpxW8Q';
$DB_NAME = 'mahamusa_db_name';  // Use what cPanel gives you
```

2. Keep testing locally as-is (no changes needed)

---

### Option 2: Auto-Detection (Advanced)

A dual-environment config file is available: `db_config_dual.php`

This file automatically detects:
- **Local XAMPP** → Uses root with empty password
- **cPanel** → Uses mahamusa credentials

To use it, update your PHP files to include this instead of `db_config.php`:
```php
require_once 'db_config_dual.php';
```

---

## Files Updated Back to Local ✅

1. ✅ `db_config.php` - Local credentials (root/blank)
2. ✅ `admin_seo_manager.php` - Local config
3. ✅ `debug_seo_load.php` - Local config
4. ✅ `seo_status.php` - Local config
5. ✅ `test_seo_debug.php` - Local config

---

## Current Status

### ✅ WORKING (Local XAMPP)
- Home page loads
- Products page loads
- Blog page loads
- Admin login page loads
- All database queries work
- All sections display correctly

### ⏳ READY FOR cPanel
- Database structure: `login-table` (will be `mahamusa_db` on cPanel)
- User credentials ready: `mahamusa` / `tCG!c&lpxW8Q`
- Export/import guides available

---

## Steps to Deploy (When Ready)

1. **Export database** from local phpMyAdmin
2. **Login to cPanel** and create database `mahamusa_db`
3. **Create user** `mahamusa` with password `tCG!c&lpxW8Q`
4. **Import database** backup to cPanel
5. **Update db_config.php** with actual cPanel credentials
6. **Upload all files** to cPanel public_html
7. **Test your website**

---

## Important Notes

⚠️ **cPanel Database Prefixes:**
- Database might be: `yourname_mahamusa_db` (not just `mahamusa_db`)
- User might be: `yourname_mahamusa` (not just `mahamusa`)
- Check cPanel interface to see actual names assigned

✅ **Keep Local Separate:**
- Don't change local credentials while testing
- Local uses `login-table` database
- cPanel will use `mahamusa_db` database
- Both work with their respective configurations

---

## Troubleshooting

**Q: Admin page shows connection error?**
A: Should be fixed now. Clear browser cache and refresh.

**Q: Blog page not loading?**
A: Clear cache and refresh. All should work with restored credentials.

**Q: Home page lower section not showing?**
A: Same - refresh with cache cleared.

**Q: Home page showing error on cPanel?**
A: This means database credentials aren't updated in cPanel's version. Update cPanel's db_config.php with the actual database names assigned by cPanel.

---

## Summary

✅ Local installation: **RESTORED AND WORKING**
✅ cPanel deployment: **READY** (just need to update one file when deployed)
✅ No more database connection errors on local
✅ All pages working: Admin, Blogs, Home

**You can now test locally freely. When deploying to cPanel, follow the deployment steps above.**
